Happy New Year All!
2019 was a fantastic year for me. I have managed to get my fitness back to a reasonable level and now look to 2020 to continue progressing. I started the year with Portobello Running Club which I cant thank enough for their support and help. They are a fantastic club but I felt that I needed to be with racers week in and week out to continue to push myself harder. From that I decided to move to Edinburgh AC and started training with them on a regular basis in October. Now having settled into the routine of the club and having made a a good connection with the coaches there I am very happy to go into 2020 with them.
2020 - The aims this year are to continue enjoying my running and hopefully avoid injuries when possible. My first race is 1st of February this year so January is just going to be steady miles and make sure my legs get enough time off before heading back into the season. The main aim of the season is just to improve on my results from last year and to start competing for the race win. I managed to clock up a few podium places last year and would love to continue striving towards that.
I would also like to thank Revvies for their support in my nutrition. I managed to become a brand ambassador last year for Revvies who supply amazing energy strips which I love to use during training and on race day.
